This was the third time when we visited Australia, the first two occasions were for holiday, now was for the project in Sydney. We spent the summer in the metropolis and celebrated Christmas at beach and New Year watching the famous fireworks at Harbour Bridge. Our home was in the centre of the town near of all major attractions like Darling Harbour, Opera and the Harbour Bridge, The Botanical Garden, China Town and Fish Markets.

Nearly all the weekends we went diving near Sydney or at Wollongong, one hour drive from here. Diving near the town was amazing good for a three million metropolis, with a lot of fishes and colourful sponges to see. There were even sharks, electric rays and huge bull-rays.

On Christmas holiday we went on a tour diving at Jervis Bay and Eden and climbing the highest mountain of Australia, Kosciuszko 2280m (a very easy trek to the top).

These are some photos from Sydney and surrounding.
